Snow is in Salt Lake... already?

We had a cold surprise on Friday night... Snow! We were driving to our friends, the Broadbents, house and it just started snowing really hard! I was screaming at Steve to pull over, panicking that we were going to die. He just kept telling me, "We're in a 4runner going 40mph on the freeway. We're fine!" He is a lot calmer in these situations than I am. And he was right! We got home, and look what I found:

How fun is that? And we woke up Saturday with about five inches on the ground! I have to say I enjoy the snow when I don't need to drive in it. On Saturday, Steve and I only left the house once, to go to the store and get groceries for the weekend. It is just so fun to cuddle up, watch movies, and not worry about anything, with the excuse "oh we can't do anything, it's too snowy outside!" Unfortunately, it looks like it'll be sunny again next weekend, which mum will be disappointed about as her and dad are visiting and she wanted to enjoy the snow! But at least it'll be warmer! I am very excited for them to visit, we only get them for the weekend, but as we're going to Russia for Christmas to see Steve's parents, I have to enjoy all the time with them I can get!
